C Major – G7 Chords:
The C major and G7 chords might be a little harder to play because your fingers have to cover 3 frets and stretch across the width of the neck. They are probably the most common chords used for creating songs on guitar, so it’s worth the effort to get them down.
- Memorize the fingering for the C and G7 chords covered in this lesson.
- Learn how to move back and forth between the two chords quickly and easily.
- Learn how to distinguish the difference between the sound of the C Major chord and the G7 chord.
- Develop finger coordination, calluses, strength and speed.
When playing C – G7 – C lift all your fingers up at the same time and set them all back down on the next chord at the same time.
